Singapore Airlines: Life is Better in Raffles Class

On arrival in Vancouver we checked in at Singapore Airlines. Ros checked to see if we could avoid the layover and plane change in Seoul. The Singapore agent made the changes and we remained on the original flight all the way to Singapore.
We had not flown on Singapore before but had heard that the service was great and if the efficiency and friendliness of the gate agent was any indication we were in for a treat.
The Raffles class cabin was wonderful. Once in our seat we were plied with champagne and got into our travel slippers which were not the tube sock found on Air Canada but actually had a sole in them. The headphones provided are of the noise canceling type and worked very well.
The meals and service were the absolute best I have ever experienced. If presented with the choice of flying Singapore again I would jump at the chance.

This is perfect! and just in time for Christmas!
Hammacher Schlemmer is offering a free CD Player with Bose Noise-Cancelling Headset at Hammacher Schlemmer.
I tell ya, once you have used these noise-cancelling headsets, you’ll wonder what you ever did without them!
Better yet, as it looks like they’ll approve cell phone use on aircraft one of these days — they’re just about a necessity!
