Macau recently overtook Las Vegas as the gambling leader. The tiny former Portuguese colony is located 35 miles from Hong Kong.

Richard Branson is finalizing a deal to build a 3 billion dollar casino complex. Most of the Vegas gaming companies have built casios in Macau.
