Speaking of rewards plans, you may want to check out the new partnership between Petro-Points and itravel2000.
One of the interesting things about this program is that when redeeming points for travel, you don’t need the full amount of your trip in points; you can pay for part of the holiday with points and cover the rest with cash/credit card (which, in turn, allows you to earn more points).
I work for Petro-Canada, so I’m a little biased. But I also figure that any new way to travel without directly paying cash (or less than the normal cost) is worth letting people know about.
